Columbia Global Centers and The Center for Undergraduate Global Engagement organized a webinar about ‘The Geopolitical Lure of Afghanistan: Shifting Alliances Under the New Regime’ where an impressive line-up of panelists explored the developing situation in Afghanistan from a historical and political perspective. 

A year has already passed since the TC-Tunisia project came into being. Co-sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Tunis, the Tunisian Ministry of Scientific Research and Higher Education, the Columbia Global Center | Tunis, and Teachers College of Columbia University, this project has provided professional development in English language teaching to 30 participants selected from ten higher education institutions in nine Tunisian provinces .

The ninth Lecture of the "Logical Reasoning in Human Genetics" course discussed why and how we study cohorts of high-risk individuals to better understand a complex aging trait, Alzheimer’s Disease (AD).
