Para Baitong Yan, fundadora da organização não-governamental No-Boundaries, a resposta está na arte. Instigar a criatividade e a imaginação de crianças e de adolescentes para retratar seus pontos de vista sob uma questão relevante inspirou a ex-aluna da Teachers College, da Universidade de Columbia, a criar uma plataforma internacional de arte e de educação visando conectar jovens artistas sem fronteiras de nacionalidade, de idiomas ou de cultura. É a arte engajada concebida pelos futuros líderes como ferramenta de reflexão e de transformação.

José Edmilson da Silva holds a Master's degree in Physical Activity Science from Universidade Salgado de Oliveira (UNIVERSO), RJ. A milestone in his career was to implement and direct the first school geared to the sport of Brazil. to E.M. Juan Antonio Samaranch - Olympic Gymnasium Experimental, the GEO of Santa Teresa. Currently serves as Advisor I in the Municipal Department of Education Rio de Janeiro - SME / RJ, Rio de Janeiro City Hall. José Edmilson was one of the panelists during the event celebrating the 5 years of Columbia Global Centers | Rio de Janeiro in March, 2018.

Emily Sandford, a graduate student in the Astronomy Department at Columbia University, spent a month in Santiago working with Universidad Católica’s professor Andrés Jordán, an expert in observations of transiting exoplanets. Emily is the fifth Columbia student to participate in the exchange program on astrophysics between Columbia and Universidad Católica, as part of the President's Global Innovation Fund (PGIF).
