On April 28 and 29, the Dean of Columbia University's School of Continuing Education, Kristine Billmyer, came to Rio de Janeiro accompanied by Enterprise Risk Management Professor Sim Segal. 

Columbia Global Centers | Rio de Janeiro Director and the mayor of Rio, Eduardo Paes, were joined by two Columbia deans and the provost at a ceremony on April 16th to sign the agreement for creating the Rio Columbia Innovation Hub.

Over the past year China has announced and begun to implement the most important reforms to the legal system in years. On April 23, the Beijing Center was honored to bring to local community three top experts in the field of China's legal studies to discuss the current development of court reform in China. Columbia Global Centers | Nairobi hosted the first ever regional Oral Health Summit that was held from 23 to 24 March 2016. The summit was hosted under a collaborative partnership between the Columbia University Medical Center, University of Nairobi, School of Dental Science and Unilever Africa, to address the topic; “Integration of Oral Health and Health”.
